Bacon. MMMMMM. It should be it’s own food group. SO. MUCH. YUM.
Sometimes people stray away from it cuz it’s definitely a mess to make, but I’ll let you in on a little secret…I NEVER make it on the stove. Cooking bacon in the oven is like the best thing ever, and there’s basically zero clean up which is even more fantastic!
I have zero idea who came up with it but it’s actually genius! It’s ridiculously easy, and I promise if you’ve never tried it, give this a whirl and you’re going to be amazed!
Ingredients:
- Bacon (My fave is Pedersons whole 30 Bacon)
- Parchment paper
Directions:
- Line parchment paper on a baking sheet. Place the bacon in a single layer. No overlapping.
- Put the baking sheet in a completely cold oven. Put the temperature at 375, and set the timer for 25 minutes. Depending on the bacon you use, you’re going to want to check it starting at the 20 minute mark. No need to worry about flipping or anything.
- Once it’s done, make sure you put them on a paper towel lined plate to drain off any excess fat!
