My friend Kathy has these amazing feather wreaths on her kiddos’ doors, and when I was over at her place last time, I knew I had to make one for Aria’s door. It was just too dang cute and let’s face it, I really just wanted it for myself. It’s really nice to have a daughter to have excuses to make such cute frilly things! =)

I may move it up a little more on the door… |
Anyhow, this wreath took me a total of 5 minutes to make. And no, I’m not kidding. You don’t even need a whole naptime in order to finish this wreath! $20 and 5 minutes for an adorable wreath is a must right? Not to mention, I can always move it to other parts of the house because again, I feel like it’s so versatile to put anywhere!
Materials:
18 inch foam wreath form (I bought mine at Michael’s for 50% off!)
2 long feather boas of the color of your choice (I got the fat ones as opposed to the skinny ones since I wanted it to be a fuller wreath)
Hot glue gun and hot glue sticks

Don’t judge my nasty glue gun. I’ve had it for god knows how many years and it’s still going strong. =) |
Directions:
Start by glueing one end of one feather boa to the wreath itself. Don’t burn yourself!! And then wrap the boa around the wreath until you finish one side. Glue the other end of the boa to the wreath when you reach halfway.
One half done and that should have used up on whole feather boa! Do the same thing to the other side now! Once you’ve finished, you can fluff out the feathers so that it covers any part of the wreath that is showing (shouldn’t really happen but just in case!).
Well hello there pretty little thing!

The final product looks much more complicated than it really is! I love that! The grey looks very chic.
