High Five for Friday! {5.2.14}

[ONE]
UM. It’s May already. When in the world did that happen and where is 2014 disappearing to?
Either way, May indicates summer to me! And I have to talk about what has been taunting me on my desk. I simply cannot wait til’ July when we take a family vacation to Mexico! I didn’t get to travel at all last year since I was pregnant so I’m really looking forward to some beach time with my two loves! [TWO]
Our backyard is pretty flat and doesn’t have any trees which is one thing we were sad about when we built this house. We knew we were gonna want to put in some trees and we finally did it! We put a red oak and a monterey oak in. Look at that little tree!!!

[THREE]

If you follow me on Instagram, you saw that I posted an adorable skirt that I made for my kiddo last weekend. I’m completely obsessed with it, and definitely need to make more for Aria. I finally got some pictures of her in it!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

[FOUR]
Last night, Aria and I went to visit my OBGYN because they have a new office that they opened, and they threw a soiree for the opening! It was amazing guys. I was obsessed. It doesn’t even look like a doctors office…it looks like a house. It doesn’t have that gross, sterile feeling where you feel like you may as well be sitting in a lab. Anyhow, I was so blessed to have this amazing team for my pregnancy journey, and then for the delivery. They are so important to me, and I love how they have such a personal touch for their practice. I’m hoping to be able to go to this same practice when I decide to do this whole kid thing for a second time (no, I don’t know when that will be so don’t even bother asking!) Either way, I had a great time seeing them and they loved seeing Aria.

[FIVE]
I’m super excited about today since my sister is coming to spend the weekend with me! I love her to pieces and can’t believe she’s going to graduate from high school this June. I’m so proud of the lady she’s turning into and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her. Either way, this weekend we are gonna plan her grad party!! WOOT!! I think I have a sickness…I love to party plan. My pinterest boards are about to be put to quite a bit of use!!!
