Toddler Boy Gift Guide

toddler boy gift guide, christmas shopping guide, what to buy a 3 year old boy, what to buy a 4 year old boy, what to buy a 5 year old boy

We are three weeks away from Christmas Eve! Which is just insanity!!! Have you started your holiday shopping or are you completely done after all the crazy sales that happened a week ago with Cyber Monday?? Either way, I wanted to share my gift guide for boys who are aged around 3-5 because if there is a boy in your life whether it’s a son, a newphew, or a friend, sometimes we are lost on what to gift! Now, I want to put a little disclaimer that these are not just for boys obviously. My daughter plays with a lot of these toys, but my son is obsessed with most! There’s a couple on this list that are actually part of his little wish list, so I figured I’d share those as well! If you’re looking for a girl gift guide, you can find it here

Sport Ball Set

This is perfect for anybody of course, but I love that they are small and come with a pump! Perfect for throwing in the car and potentially even just keeping it there, so if you’re ever at a park or on a road trip, you can easily stop and play!

Walking Dinosaur

A dinosaur. That is Rishi’s one thing he’s asking Santa for constantly. So I wanted to find one that wasn’t just plush and did a little more like this one. Now I’m fully aware that there’s no educational value to this one, but sometimes it’s ok to have a toy that is just a toy. I know I had those growing up too!

Dinosaur Helmet

We have this helmet and we love it! He actually loves putting it on so it’s a win win!

Scissor Skills

An activity that keeps my kids entertained for quite a bit of time are scissors and cutting. You can also check out my cutting box idea, if you wanna skip this! But if you’re ok with letting your kids use scissors, I highly recommend this!

Durable Kids Tool Set

This is another one that’s on Rishi’s wish list. He wants tools like daddy so I found this one that’s battery operated and has the cutest little tape measure!

Vtech Kidizoom Camera

I recommended this in the girl gift guide, but I love it so much I had to include it here too! Rishi’s been wanting one of his own because he sees Aria with it!

Melissa and Doug Vehicle Puzzles

We have these and absolutely love them! I would recommend these for the three year olds…might be a little too easy for 4 and 5 years olds. They are the best and have really helped improve Rishi’s skills at puzzles! We had these for Aria and just passed them down!

Lego Duplo Tractor and Excavator

Legos. My kids loves duplo legos. And these are such great starter ones if your kids are just getting into legos!

My First Microscope

Such a fun gift that encourages science and learning! I love gifts for those curious minds because they absorb everything right now, and if something like a microscope will pique their curiosity even more, I’m so here for that!

Build a Robot and Car

A STEM toy that is perfect for the little kiddos that are super into cars and robots!! I know Rishi would be obsessed with this!

Lucky Ducks Game

Board games are always fun! I loved them as a kid and I’m seeing how much my children like them too! A game like this that is interactive and also helps their memory skills is great!

Marble Run

This is one that I love and want for my kids. Forces them to really understand how they are going to build something so that the marble follows the track that they built. Lots of thinking skills involved, and the cause and effect of moving parts around.

Magnatiles

As mentioned before in the girl guide, I absolutely love magnatiles! I know they can be a bit of an investment, but they are well worth the price! My kids have been playing with these for years!

Balance Bike

I HIGHLY recommend the balance bike over a regular bike with training wheels! I feel like it enforces them to understand balance so much better and fast so that you may never actually need training wheels when they move to a regular bike!
