Old Navy Try On! – Black Friday Edition

Black Friday sales are ON!!! I can’t believe how early they’ve started this year…or maybe the same thing happened last year and I just can’t remember! Either way, I’m not mad about it! Of course I had to do a little try on at one of my favorite stores to shop, OLD NAVY!!! Everything is 50% off! Hard to beat that y’all!!!  But what’s better about this was I got to collaborate with my bestie (@sincerelysweta) which was probably the funniest thing ever! If the fitting room attendant was listening to us, I’m sure she thought we were legit cray.  We both love to shop at Old Navy but have relatively different styles so we figured it’d be a fun way to show our own style but at the same store!

Look our for our stories on Instagram tomorrow morning so you can see us in action!

Chambray Dress

I was obsessed with this chambray dress so much that it came home with me! It’s so versatile that I couldn’t stop talking about it, so I knew it was something I definitely wanted to add my closet. You can wear it just by itself, or with a cute sweater, or a cardigan! If it’s colder where you live, I’d probably add some tights and some OTK or knee high boots! Accessorize with a scarf and you’re ready!

Velvet Tee with Distressed Black Jeggings

Velvet tees make everything cuter! You can dress them down like I did here with some distressed jeans and booties, or add it with a fun skirt for a party! A good staple to have in your closet for different occasions! Which by the way, these are my FAVE black jeans currently! They suck IT ALL IN GUYS. These are awesome for moms.

Plaid Ruffle Shirt With Distressed Black Jeggings

Wasn’t my favorite shirt, but I do love the combo of the red plaid shirt with distressed jeans! The only reason I wasn’t in love with it was the neckline, otherwise the ruffles are super cute! But I know this would look cute on so many people so I still wanted to talk about it!

Gray Plaid Shirtdress

This dress. It’s perfection. It’s cozy, it’s roomy, it’s forgiving, and so dang cute. You can style this in so many ways. Add a sweater on top like I did, or add a long duster cardigan. Wear it with tights and some OTK boots, and it would be adorable in cold weather.

Black Polka Dot Dress

This dress almost made it home with me until I realized I didn’t really have too many places to wear it too, but I was obsessed with it! It was super comfy and a good length! If I was still in the corporate world, I would definitely add a cardigan on top and wear it to the office! SO SO cute! Plus, these mule booties were adorable. I will say they weren’t the most comfortable, but they could just need some breaking in and it’d be fine.

Pink Blouse with Blue Jeggings

A super versatile blouse with of course another pair of jeggings. You guys, jeggings are becoming my jam just cuz they do such a good job of hiding my baby pooch from growing humans in my belly. I feel like this top could be totally worn to the office or a night out with a blazer and some heels! You could even tuck it into a pencil skirt and add a cardigan! Or you could just be casual like me, and wear it with jeans! The advantage with this one, is it’s basically year round if you live in a hot place like me down here in Texas! #lightlayers

Doing this little try on with Sweta was the best thing ever. If you don’t buy anything or care for black friday sales, the one piece of advice I give you is to go to a store and try on clothes with a friend. Because I guarantee you will laugh until your cheeks hurt!!
