Wow, it’s been a hot minute since I’ve done one of these, and I’m hoping to bring these back because I loved kinda having it there! Gave me a space to talk or ramble about a lot of things that didn’t really need a whole post or anything dedicated to it. Today, I’m bringing your five random things that I wanted to share with you!
ONE //
A BIG piece of news that I’ve been dying to share with you guys and here it is *drumroll*… I’m officially quitting my corporate job soon to be a SAHM again. I only went back for about a year, and that itself was enough for me to realize that my place in my current season of life, was at home with my babies. They aren’t even babies given they are 2 (almost 3) and 4, but I just really want to cherish this time because I know for a fact I won’t get it back. There are also a plethora of other things I could talk about relating to this, which might actually warrant a whole post, so I’ll consider writing about it because I have so much to say on this topic, and why I made the decision I did. #staytuned
TWO //
Overalls. OH. My. Gosh. They are everywhere you turn, and everyone is wearing them, and I’m telling you, I really had to jump on that bandwagon because I absolutely love it. And I know there will be haters who will say things like “you’re too old for overalls!”, but truth be told, I don’t care! This is unapologetically me, and I love them! I actually found these at TJMaxx randomly for $25. I tried the Madewell ones that everyone is talking about, and I honestly wanted the Old Navy ones , but they didn’t have it in my size and I can’t even link it because it’s completely out of stock! I also saw that American Eagle had a cute pair, but once I found these, I was pretty sold! Plus, the price point was hard to beat! If you’ve been hesitant to buy some, go try some on! YOU DO YOU BOO. Get those overalls if you want them.
THREE //
My current read is “Grace, Not Perfection” by Emily Ley and I’m basically obsessed with this whole book. Every other page, I just want to scream “YAAAAAS” because it’s so relatable to this crazy, hectic time period in my life. If I start talking about it, I know I’m just going to go on and on about how much of it I actually love. One of my favorite things that she says…
And busyness? Well, that’s just the norm. We run on adrenaline and lattes. If we’re not busy, then we’re not measuring up. At least that’s what we’ve told ourselves. And although the chase may earn us “likes” and immaculate Instagram photos, it also leaves us feeling empty, alone, and just plain not good enough. So we try to do it all: we answer email and push baby swings. We text and drive. We overload, overcommit, overwork, and end up overwhelmed.
If that doesn’t relate to you, girrrrrl, give me your secrets. I highly recommend picking up this one to read because I’m loving it, and every time I pick it up, I just see myself nodding along and can’t seem to put it down! Hmmmm, this one might warrant a whole book review post and what all I’m going to take away. HA. So much for having things on this list that don’t require full posts.
FOUR //
Ok, this next one might seem silly to you but it has changed the way my email inbox looks so I wanted to share! Every single time I would open up my email inbox, it always overwhelmed me. SO. MANY. JUNK. EMAILS. Things that I had potentially subscribed to, or a store that I bought that one thing from but now I get emails from them practically everyday. I mean, I don’t even open these and just straight delete, but they clog up my inbox like long hair in a shower drain. It’s hella annoying and all I want to do is just to get to the meat of my stuff and be able to not nearly get so anxious every time I hit that little mail button. Enter: Unroll.Me. It’s gotta be the coolest app that basically lets you go through and unsubscribe by using the swipe motion! Connect the app to your email, and start swiping left if you want to be unsubscribed. Swipe right if you want to keep. You guys, it is life changing. I love being able to open up that mailbox and not be spammed by 34 emails all about sales right when I wake up. It’s free, and this is not sponsored. If you’re annoyed with your inbox, this app is for you my friend. Just look at my screenshots! I was subscribed to 221 things!! WHAAAAAT. Had to say bye to that shiz. #girlbye

Did you guys catch my post about you can get awesome stuff at the best prices ever over at ThredUp. Well, last time I was in there, I scored this beautiful vintage clutch, and to say I’m over the moon about my find, would be an understatement. I love pieces that are different, and have a little story of their own! And this is exactly that!
WELLLLL, it’s Friday, which means it’s time to get that weekend started!! Hope you all have a lovely few days ahead with loved ones!
