This post is sponsored by American Girl. But all opinions and content are my own as always!
I think one of my childhood dreams literally came true today! I got to stroll through an American Girl store today right here in Austin, and basically played with a bunch of dolls with my bestie. We’re adults…I think…trust me. =)
Austin is opening up an American Girl pop up shop down here in Austin,TX tomorrow that will last through January 31st, and I’m super worried about what it’ll do to our bank account! Everything in there is so stinkin’ cute. I’m just glad I didn’t take Aria with me otherwise we basically would’ve never left.
It actually opens up tomorrow, Saturday, September 2 at 10 AM, but you can start lining up around 9 AM if you want to check it out! They are going to hand out free Lea book while supplies last, and a craft that will have stickers and postcards to let children create scenes while they shop the store!
They have a giant assortment of dolls and accessories, and most everything from their other stores. Plus, I learned today that they have babies and smaller dolls. American Girl did a great job creating variety in what their dolls look like, which I definitely appreciated since I wanted to find something that would look more like Aria!
I was super excited to be able to take home the Nanea doll! She’s adorable and I gotta be honest, I feel like it looks just like Aria!! She was beyond ecstatic to get a new baby, but because she obviously doesn’t know the story, decided to name her Sarah! Hahaha. I guess, we now have Sarah as part of our family because she hasn’t let go of her once we opened that box!
Have you ever been to an American Girl?? If not, check out the one here in Austin for the next few months!!
