South Congress Saturday!

Kids in front of JOs

Our Saturday shenanigans included playing on one of our favorite streets in Austin: South Congress! Walked around quite a bit, ate a little at Snack Bar, and then played at the Toms shop and had some coffee! A perfect way to kick off our morning and long weekend!

South Congress is one of our fave places to hang, and now that the kids are older, it’s getting more fun to explore our city with them! I actually can’t wait for fall temperatures to hit Texas so we can do this more often! So much to do and see in this city, and I’m dying to share it with the kiddos!

You have a bright future

Such a cute little spot to chill with the babies! If only it wasn’t 90 degrees and dripping in sweat (Was that graphic? EW.), we would’ve definitely hung out longer! But alas, naps and the sweltering heat got the best of us!

Nonetheless, hoping this tired them out since we’ve got a fun date night planned! =)

Love, Alfa

I LOVE AUSTIN! There is always so much to do and so many different things too! We are not far (Houston), but I wish we were closer. Love South Congress – all the busyness and the food too.

How fun! We ended up going yesterday and it was so crowded. We braved the people and ate at Homeslice. Unfortunately our little people started to fade soon after so we weren’t able to explore as much as we would’ve liked. We’ll definitely be back and start our day earlier.

I’m with you! The crowd can be tough with the kiddos but it’s just so fun! And we wanted to eat Homeslice too but we were dying in the heat and eating hot pizza just didn’t sound appealing so we ended up leaving! =( But I’m so with you…I think next time, we’ll come even earlier!!
