High Five for Friday! {6.6.14}

Drumroll please……. it’s FRIDAY! WHOOP! Let’s get down to the five on this friday!

[ONE]
Aria is 7 months old today!! It’s getting closer and closer to that year mark. WHOA. I wish there was a way to slow it down. I cherish every minute I get with her, because I know that she will grow up before I know it. These past few months have proven just that. I feel like Rudy and I were just talking about all the classes and hospital tours we needed to do before she arrived and it’s now June of 2014, and my baby girl is 7 months old. What they say is so true: the days are long, but the years are short.
Warning: Picture overload!!

[TWO]
Heading to Houston for my sister’s graduation from high school tomorrow! I cannot believe she’s graduating high school! Fun fact: I went to the same high school and graduated from there 11 years ago! She also had some of the same teachers. I have a feeling I’m going to be a big ball of mush on Saturday. This past Wednesday was the last day she had to go to school, and as we were talking about it on the phone, I teared up. I lie. I bawled like a baby. YUP. I’m already that emotional about this. Can’t even imagine what Saturday will do to me as she walks across that stage. Guess I should remember to definitely take my waterproof mascara…

[THREE]
On a happy note, can I be excited about the dress I’m wearing to her graduation that I just got from Banana Republic on sale? It’s so freaking cute and I’m obsessed with it! Summery and light! =)

Speaking of fashion, has anybody seen these floral kimonos that are all the rage? I’m obsessed with them and dying to get my hands on one! Plus, I’m pretty sure I have an infatuation with all floral things right now. Anyhow,  I feel like these kimonos are the perfect accessory for shorts, jeans, swimsuit cover-ups, or whatever!!

The countdown is real! In a month, we are heading for our very first family vacation to Cancun, Mexico!! This is going to be a much needed vacation. I simply cannot wait to dip my toes in water, hang out on the beach with my loved ones, get a tan, have a cocktail, lay poolside, and god knows what else! I feel like I still have so much to do to get ready before this rolls around…sigh. Any tips on traveling with a  8 month old?

The paradise I’ll be lounging at in a month…I’ll be the excited mom with a pina colada in hand and a baby in the other.

P.S. – Excited to link up again with these lovely ladies – DarciChristinaApril, & Natasha!!

      Aw thanks! And yes, I'm cannot wait for Mexico! I just read your post on travelling with a toddler and found it super helpful! I'm hoping I can apply some of it to travelling with my little one! And I totally wish I knew about the stroller thing. I bought the Chicco Comfort Travel and hoping that will do!!

      Thanks! I remember that feeling too! Now when I pass Motherhood Maternity at the mall, I always think about how comfy those stretchy waists were! Haha!
