Happy Wednesday!
I remember when tissue paper poms were the rage, and they were at every event (including mine!) whether it was a birthday or shower or whatever. Nowadays, I see these tassel garlands and I just had to figure out how to make them. Turns out they are easier and way more cost effective!
For the tissue poms, you need about 8-12 sheets of tissue paper to make one pom. For the tassel garlands, you get 4 tassels out of one tissue paper! Now, that is awesome. Not to mention, they are so fun and whimsical!
Use a plethora of colors and you’ll have some amazing party decor for dirt cheap! I’ve also seen these being used as decor in baby nurseries and also as photo backdrops!
You won’t need that many things to make this wonderful garland. Just one sheet of tissue paper, scissors, glue & glue gun, and some string or twine!
Directions:
Make a couple more and you’ve got an awesome tassel garland!
My next challenge is to figure out a fabric one…I’ll have to post that one once I figure it out!
Til’ next time!
